COLUMBUS—The Columbus Library will host a talk with author Rick Reles, titled “Insights from a Bigfoot Field Researcher,” at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20.
Reles, who lives in Western North Carolina, is an investigator with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization and the author of the Field Guide to Bigfoot Stick Structures. He will share his insight and expertise on this renowned cryptid.
Reles has led dozens of expeditions, been a frequent guest speaker at conferences and podcasts, and been interviewed in Bold Life magazine and The New York Post, so he is the ideal expert to share his research and firsthand experience with Bigfoot.
Reles is retired from 37 years of professional business life, during which time he traveled the world frequently. In 2010, while driving across Northern Wisconsin with another business associate, Reles says they saw a Sasquatch cross the road ahead of their vehicle. This began his interest in and research into the Bigfoot world.
Rick is also a recording artist (Just Rick), with the song “Woodbooger Walk” out on Spotify, iTunes, etc.. He consulted for the show “Finding Bigfoot,” which aired three episodes, involving encounters he has had with the creature.
His Field Guide to Bigfoot Stick Structures is in its fourth edition. Rick is also a partner in IKNOWSQUATCH, a Wisconsin LLC. that sells leading-edge Sasquatch-related merchandise.
