TRYON—Tryon Arts & Crafts School has announced a unique opportunity for artisans to showcase and sell their handcrafted creations at the upcoming Pop-Up Craft Fair, taking place on Friday, August 2, from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, August 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the front parking lot of TACS, located at 373 Harmon Field Road.
The Pop-Up Craft Fair is open to visual artists and craftspeople in various mediums, including ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, blacksmithing, painting, photography, printmaking, and more. The fair will run concurrently with TACS’ annual Yard Sale fundraiser, promising a lively atmosphere and a great turnout of shoppers.
Interested participants must submit their applications by Monday, July 8. The application process includes completing a form and submitting a $25 vendor fee. TACS will take no commission on sales.
Artists will be required to bring all necessary display items, including tables, tablecloths, shelves, and any special lighting required to enhance their booths. Additionally, artists are welcome to demonstrate their craft at their booths, adding an interactive element for their audience.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants, booth assignments will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. TACS will promote the fair extensively through social media, TACS’ website, e-blasts, tourist publications, and printed fliers to attract a broad audience.
For more information, artists can download the application form and pay their booth fee through TACS’ website at https://tryonartsandcrafts.org/pop-up-craft-fair/. Any questions or assistance needed with the application process may be directed to administrator@tryonartsandcrafts.org or by calling 828-859-8323.
