Tryon’s Fourth Friday to celebrate Global Food Fest

Tryon – On Friday, June 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., Tryon Downtown Development Association (TDDA) will hold its Fourth-Friday event, featuring extended shopping hours, gallery openings and special events.

One of the highlights will be the Global Food Fest, which will provide a platform for culinary enthusiasts to share their favorite international dishes with the community. Participants can sign up to cook and share their dish, with the chance to win a prize. For those who prefer to savor the flavors, there will be ample opportunity to sample the various tasty creations and vote for their favorite dish. 

Adding to the ambiance, PAC JAM will be on the plaza during Fourth Friday, treating attendees to lively tunes. In addition, TDDA, will be present on the plaza, showcasing some exclusive Tryon merchandise.

Also, on June 28th at 5 p.m., the community is invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Mirrorball Gallery at 84 Pacolet Street and Valhalla Cakes & Cafe at 90 Pacolet Street, which are celebrating grand openings. The TDDA also recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Jay & Co. Skin Studio at its new location on 163 N. Trade Street. This is an excellent opportunity to show support for the thriving local business community.

Looking ahead, Tryon will be holding its Second Saturday event on July 13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participating shops will host art demonstrations, creating another wonderful opportunity to explore the Town of Tryon.
