TRYON—Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix will perform at the Tryon First Baptist Activity Building at 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. during this year’s Super Saturday festival. Please note that this is a location change, as the show was originally scheduled to be held at the Congregational Church. The Tryon First Baptist Activity Building is located at 126 Pacolet Street.
Johnny Peers and the Muttville Comix is a slapstick comedy act like no other! Johnny leads a dozen dogs through challenging and hilarious tricks as he plays the straight-man role in this wonderful show. Johnny and his personality-plus canines are coming to tickle your funny bone! A show for the whole family and the dog lover in all of us, the show stars mostly dogs rescued from shelters.
Children’s Theater Festival’s presentation of Super Saturday is supported by grants from the Mary F. Kessler Fund at the Polk County Community Foundation. Organizers are also grateful to the Polk County Community Foundation for administering the George and Esther Moore Endowment Fund, Arthur M. and Frances H. Wilhelm Fund, the Dixie and Harry Evans Charitable Endowment Fund, and the Super Saturday Fund. The Tryon First Baptist Activity Building stage is sponsored by William Hooker Gillette sponsors, Ashworth Financial Group, Kiwanis Club of Tryon, and Modera Wealth Management, LLC.
Super Saturday will take place on Saturday, March 16. Tickets can be purchased at the box office inside the Tryon Fine Arts Center.
