Three minors, aunt and grandfather died in crash
INMAN—A GoFundMe page has been created to support the families of five South Carolina residents who passed away in a fatal car accident on I-26 in Inman last month.
The collision happened after the driver of a car hauler lost control of the vehicle and swerved into the eastbound lane of oncoming traffic, ultimately striking a Honda sedan and killing the driver and all passengers inside the vehicle.
The five people who tragically died at the scene include a 9th-grader at the Dorman Freshman Campus, a 6th-grader at Fairforest Middle School and a 3rd-grader at Cleveland Elementary Academy, as well as their aunt and grandfather.
The GoFundMe page was created to help Ashley Ballenger, the mother of the minors who died, and other family members to help give their loved ones the funeral service they deserve.
