Eubanks Farm Store to debut in Landrum with farm fresh products and gifts
LANDRUM—Eubanks Farm Store will hold its Grand Opening Friday, December 8, and Saturday, December 9, in Landrum. The new store features farm fresh produce, local 100% grass-fed meats, baked goods and gifts.
The new business is located at 1506 E. Rutherford St. in Landrum across from the Dollar General store, in the building that formerly housed the Frozen Frog.
Owners Katie and Hunter Eubanks, originally of Franklin, Penn., and Inman, respectively, said that they felt Landrum “needed a place that provided good produce and quality meats.” Earlier this year, the couple sold pumpkins outside of Lucy’s Boutique in downtown Landrum, and turned the profits into their new business endeavor.
It was important to the Eubanks to source most of their meats and produce from local farmers in North and South Carolina.
“We were concerned about the food we were eating and feeding our children. We prefer farm-to-table so we know where our food is coming from,” said Katie Eubanks. “We feel like there are a lot of people in the community that feel the same way we do.”
The Eubanks also intend to “bring a little bit of Texas” to Landrum with real cowhide products and decor.
Eubanks Farm Store’s Grand Opening will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both December 8 and 9. The event will feature fresh cut Christmas trees, wreaths and garland. There will also be a free hot cocoa bar and sweets for customers to enjoy as they peruse the store. Folks can also keep an eye out for the farm store owners in Landrum’s upcoming Christmas Parade on December 7.
