The Tryon History Museum just received the panels for a new exhibit about Sidney Lanier and the Lanier Library. The panels were made by Jesse Bricker, an employee at the NC State History Museum, who works in Old Fort, N.C., at the Mountain Gateway Museum. Part of Bricker’s job is to assist smaller museums in North Carolina. The Tryon History Museum is working closely with the State History Museum to produce additional exhibits. Over the next year, all of the exhibits will be reconstructed and new ones added. Submitted by Wanda May.
