Celebrate Oktoberfest at Nostalgia Courtyard in Saluda

SALUDA—The Nostalgia Courtyard in downtown Saluda is gearing up for its first-ever Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, October 8.
The event will take place between Mewdlics and eARThly Minds Gallery at 19 Pearson Falls Rd. and 171 E. Main St., promising a fun afternoon of live music, German food, corn hole, beer and art demonstrations. The Gardner’s Cottage and the Brass Latch will also be staying open late to celebrate.
Vendors will be onsite, as well as artists demonstrating their crafts. Live music will be performed at both eARThly Minds Gallery and Mewdlics, featuring Feral Child and Father Pops from 2 to 5 p.m. at the gallery, thanks to music sponsor Back Alley Boutique & Bud Bar, who are also one of the event’s vendors. Live music from local Steve Pricklemyer and friends will be performed at Mewdlics throughout the evening.
Beer lovers will also be able to enjoy German-inspired beers from Iron Key Brewing Company of Columbus and meet Autumn, the brewer. German cuisine from Haus Heidelberg will be available onsite.
