Polk County rolled Tuesday to an easy road win at Hendersonville, sweeping the Bearcats in a Mountain Foothills 7 Conference matchup.
The Wolverines took a 25-7, 25-14, 25-11 victory, that win improving their overall record to 16-1, 7-1 in league play. The Bearcats fell to 5-9, 4-4.
Morgan Yoder had 15 kills for Polk County, with Mia Bradley posting eight kills, 10 digs and six aces in a solid all-around effort.
Sophia Overholt had seven kills and 10 digs, with Ada Kelley adding six kills and 12 digs.
Zaelea Eller recorded 24 assists and Charley Dusenbury added 12 for Polk County, which is back in action on Thursday, traveling to R-S Central. That match is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be shown live on NFHS Network.
