FENCE recently planted a native wildflower garden on its grounds after receiving a grant from the Polk County Appearance Commission.
“We want to send a special thank you to the Polk County Appearance Commission for awarding FENCE the beautification grant to plant this native wildflower garden,” said FENCE Executive Director Tracie Hanson. “We are excited to watch it grow!”
Hanson adds that the garden could not have been completed without all the fabulous volunteers that helped with the project, including Karen Bird, John Vining, Don Dicey, Amy Brucksch, Susie Hursey, Corrie Woods, Holly Dake, Judith Kerns, Gordon Davidson and Summaiya D’Adamo.
FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon.
