The Foothills Music Club met Thursday, March 9 at Tryon First Baptist Church.  

 

Members enjoyed a program of music from Ireland as well as selections in the Irish tradition.  Included were familiar tunes such as “Londonderry Air,” “The Kerry Dance,” and “The Last Rose of Summer.”

Performances consisted of vocal solos and duets and instrumental numbers on piano, recorder, melodica, harmonica, and Celtic harp.
