COLUMBUS–Community members are encouraged to visit Isothermal Community College for a Holiday Season Celebration on Thursday, December 8, between 3-6 p.m., at the Polk County Campus at 1255 Mills St.
The celebration will have numerous holiday-themed activities for attendees of all ages, along with hot chocolate and holiday cookies. Students and their families are encouraged to come and have fun and drop in. There will be a family photo station for those looking to take their annual Christmas photo.
There will be a Santa letter-writing station for the kids where they can draft their Christmas lists. The table will have plenty of materials to help catch Santa’s eye, with stationary, stickers, crayons, and pencils.
The celebration’s highlight will be a community tree trimming, where everyone is encouraged to bring homemade or store-bought ornaments to decorate the school’s community tree.
Visitors are also encouraged to check out ICC’s numerous educational opportunities for continuing education, free classes for personal growth, and other non-degree courses. There will be plenty of staff available to answer any questions.
