In Polk County District Court on Nov. 16, 2022 with Judge F. Mercer presiding, 102 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Michael Douglas Arney was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Arney was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 30 days in jail with credit and court costs.
Austin Nicholas Barns was convicted of common law obstruct. Barns was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit.
Jason Lee Brady was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Brady was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
James Robert Ferber was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Ferber was fined $10.
Craig Alan Guess Jr. was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard and driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Guess was fined $25 and court costs.
William Sanders Heath was convicted of possession of stolen vehicle and level 5 driving while impaired. Heath was sentenced to 12-24 months in prison with 111 days credit.
Daririan Chad Jackson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Jackson was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit.
Andrew Barry Jones was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Jones was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Christopher A. Leopin was convicted of speeding 103 mph in a 70 mph zone. Leopin was fined $25 and court costs.
Nazae Dion Maewether was convicted of carrying a concealed gun. Maewether was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit.
Robert Odell Moore II was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Moore was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Damien M. Osborn was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Osborn was sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation, 2 days in in jail and court costs.
Dennis Popov was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Popov was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Audrey L. Rubendall was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Eubendall was fined $100 and court costs.
James Otis Suber was convicted of 2nd-degree trespass. Suber was to pay court costs.
