Tipsy Plant plans for grand opening later this month
FOOTHILLS – Would you like to spend an afternoon browsing plants for purchase while sipping fine wine? Tipsy Plant will be offering an opportunity to do exactly that when they open the doors to their new business located just outside Columbus.
If you’re a regular at Parker-Binns Vineyard and Winery in Mill Spring, you may have visited the Tipsy Plant tent, where owners Theresa Thompson and Jenna Lowder serve alcoholic beverages while offering beautiful house plants, air plants, succulents, and cactuses for sale all at a reasonable price.
Tipsy Plant is now expanding and moving to a new location at 10 Nanny Halford Ln. in Columbus, and will be celebrating their grand opening on Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
In addition to offering wine, Tipsy Plant will also be serving beer, seltzers, ciders and mimosas.
Tipsy Plant will offer a kid-friendly environment as well, with activities such as painting pots, picking a plant to pot, and DIY terrariums. They will also be offering plant classes for kids, and plant and sip classes for adults.
There are a host of vendors set to attend the grand opening such as Biscuit and Brew, Kaleidoscope Studios Art, Emberglow Outdoor Resort, Southern Sisters Designs, Fat Dog Farms, Elegance Permanent Beauty Co., and many more. The event will feature live music from Tryon native B.J. Cates and The Dirty South Band.
