So the holidays are over…the tree and ornaments are put away…the relatives have gone back to their homes…the grandchildren are no longer pulling at you…the meals are back to somewhat healthy…and you look around and say “what now”? I need something to do…to fill my days. Or I have finally decided to learn something new – to keep the brain active. Perhaps I should take that art class I have been talking about for…hmmm quite some time.

Tryon Painters and Sculptors is alive and well and offering several classes for the total novice to the experienced…art or clay.

And we are conveniently located at 78 Trade Street with plenty of parking and even a coffee shop close by. We have instructors we have relied on to always deliver interesting classes for the novice or experienced artists.

Susan Ruby and Vicki Van Vynckt are well known names at Tryon Painters and Sculptors. They teach an array of classes including oils and acrylic.

We have added Marcia Rieff from Hendersonville to our instructor’s list. Marcia is a well-known watercolorist recognized for her own work as well as an instructor.

And we are excited to add a well known name to our sculpture studio instructors…Janet Leazenby.
