Columbus Fire Department trains to extract victims from vehicles
COLUMBUS—The Columbus Fire Department recently received training on extrication techniques.
The A-Shift of the fire department received training on June 18 on how to quickly and efficiently extricate a patient from a vehicle.
The department used the resources of Jackson’s Towing, who provided a vehicle and the space to train. The fire department also had training from Lieutenant Michael Hermon for teaching the techniques.
