In Polk County District Court on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 39 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Sean M. Burton-Gray was convicted of injury to personal property. Burton-Gray was sentenced to one year probation and court costs.
Justin Gary Cole was convicted of possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Cole was sentenced to 2 days in jail with credit for time served.
Dennis Lee Wagner was convicted of possession of marijuana ½ ounce to 1 and ½ ounce. Wagner was sentenced to 3 days in jail with credit for time served.
Peter Piacente was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. Piacente was sentenced to 24 hours of community service, a $50 fine and court costs.

Sierra Calynn Obryant was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and driving after consuming under age 21. Obryant was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ricky Allen Tucker II was convicted of assault on a female. Tucker was sentenced to 44 days in jail with credit.
Kyle Lynn Wells was convicted of speeding 107 mph in a 65 mph zone. Wells was fined $200 and court costs.
Tyler Christia Wilson was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Wilson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
