Barbara Jean Higgins Hill, age 83, passed away August 25, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
She was born April 24, 1937 in Rutherford County, a daughter of the late Woodrow and Ruth Watkins Higgins.

Jean loved her family and friends deeply.  She enjoyed the drives through the country and the mountains with her children, working in the yard with her flowers and being outdoors with nature.  Left to cherish her memories are her children Carla Hilderbrand and fiance’ Danny, Keith Hill and wife Peggy; sister Ann Jolly and husband Max; brothers Wayne Higgins and wife Polly, Henry Higgins and wife Judy; grandchildren Hillary Hilderbrand and fiance’ Adam Scoggins and Jon-Luc Hilderbrand; granddaughter-in-love Chelsea Kurkendall Bailey; one great granddaughter; three great grandsons; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be private to the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local hospice.
