Polk Substance Abuse Coalition wants youth to complete surveys

POLK COUNTY—The Polk County Substance Abuse Coalition is asking area youth to complete 2 surveys regarding alcohol and tobacco/nicotine.

The surveys are available to all Polk County youth.

The purpose of the surveys is for the coalition to gain data on the community as a whole. The surveys are not intended to punish or bring focus to the actions or behaviors of any single individual or family.

To take the youth alcohol survey, people can visit https://forms.gle/tSJFJms6xcv7vZrFA and to take the youth tobacco/nicotine survey people can visit https://forms.gle/iAKBTrsADyd6QboTA.

Polk County officials are encouraging all Polk County youth to participate in the surveys.

The Polk County Substance Abuse Coalition is also in the process of forming a youth-run substance use prevention coalition. Anyone interested in joining the youth-run coalition or for more information is urged to email polkpsac@gmail.com.
