Artists enjoy attending Saluda Arts Festival

The annual Saluda Arts Festival held in May each year attracts many repeat artists, and 2020 will not be different.

This year’s 17th annual festival will be held on May 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in historic downtown Saluda.

Stretching along Main Street, every art media is represented in this popular annual event including paintings, pottery, metal work, jewelry, sculptures, fiber and more. The event draws thousands of spring tourists visiting Western North Carolina and crowds from Upstate South Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.

Artists still have time to submit their applications at https://form.jotform.com/92914168679170. Additional information can be found at www.saluda.com or by contacting Lynn Casey at caseysaluda@gmail.com or 828-772-1504.

Festival organizers expect a large number of entries for this popular spring one-day event. Some types of work (i.e. jewelry) will be accepted on a limited basis  Early entries will be given first choice of booth location. Deadline is March 15.
