Columbus, NC–William Dennis (Dee) Thompson, age 66, of Columbus, NC died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 28, 2019.

 

Born in Columbia, South Carolina – son of late Claude B. Thompson and Sarah Cannon Thompson, Dee graduated from Tryon High School in 1970.  He was a self-employed carpenter, an avid outdoorsman and loved his family.

 

Dee will be lovingly remembered by his brother – David A. Thompson (Sue), Niece – Cheryl Thompson (Craig) and Niece – Johnna Searcy (Ben), great niece – Alma, and great nephews – Cannon, Sawyer, Sully.

 

Graveside services will be Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 2 pm, Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC, with Dr. Darryl Maxwell officiating.
