Nancy Sue Roberts, age 66, of Columbus, N.C., passed away June 14, 2019 at Willow Ridge Nursing Home in Rutherfordton. 

Born in Haywood County to the late Harding Robinson and Pauline Robinson, Nancy loved to cook for a living as well for her family and spending time and reading to her granddaughter and great granddaughters. She was a member of Mill Spring First Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Roger Ben Roberts; a brother, David Robinson; and a nephew, Michael Robinson. 

Survivors include her son, Roger Wayne Roberts (Teresa); 1 granddaughter, Brittany Ravan (Phillip), 2 great granddaughters, Paisley Jade Ravan and Brinley Grace Ravan; 3 brothers, Larry Robinson and Paul Robinson, and Wayne Coleman; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces. 

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Mill Spring First Baptist Church with Rev. David Bame officiating. 

 Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Family received friends 1 hour prior to the service.
