In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, with Judge Mack McKeller presiding, 64 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.  

The following persons were convicted of a crime:  

Geri Lee Baynard was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Baynard was sentenced to 35 days in jail with credit for time served.  

Leticia Salvador was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Salvador was to pay court costs.
