Ms. James currently serves as the Executive Director at Tryon Estates. Prior to becoming the executive director, she was the Licensed Administrator there. Ms. James joined Acts Retirement Life in 2005 and has over 30 years of experience in long term care. She has been a licensed administrator since 1997 and previously served on the board of North Carolina Leading Age. Additionally, Ms. James has served on the Governor’s Roundtable of Aging. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with an Emphasis in Gerontology from St. Andrews College in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
