The SC Division of Hospice of the Carolina Foothills received notice today that it has been named a 2019 Hospice Honors Elite Recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst. The Hospice Honors award is presented as the result of the Hospice CAHPS family satisfaction surveys between October 2017 and September 2018. Award recipients are evaluated on a set of 24 quality indicator measures. HOCF scored above the HEALTHCAREfirst performance score on 100% of the evaluated questions.  

 

HEALTHCAREfirst monitors individual hospice performance throughout the United States. HEALTHCAREfirst issued the following statement about the Hospice Honors Elite Award, “This is a landmark compilation of hospices providing the best patient and caregiver experience. This prestigious annual review recognizes hospices that continuously provide the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.
