John Eugene Watson

John Eugene Watson, 75, of Hustonville, passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019.

He was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Aug. 15, 1943, to the late Sarah Lucy Justice and William Malcolm Watson.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kay Watson.

He worked as an agricultural salesman and was a member of Hustonville Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Amy Watson, of Hustonville; a son, Daniel (Lisa) Watson of Danville; and a sister, Martha (Paul) Fox III of Asheville, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, with Brother Jonathan Grizzell officiating at Hustonville Baptist Church. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. until the time of service.
