TROT to host annual Student Horse Show Nov. 17
Published 8:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2018
On Saturday, Nov. 17, Therapeutic Riding of Tryon will host its annual Student Horse Show.
The purpose of this horse show is to give all 25 students the opportunity to showcase their skills and accomplishments — and to have fun doing it, organizers said.
Barbara DiPalma will judge this year’s competition. Each student will participate in two classes, equitation and trail. Ribbons will be awarded in each class.
Ring B at FENCE will be the competition arena, unless there is bad weather. In case of rain, the competition will be moved to the covered arena.
The first ride time will be 10 a.m., and the show should be completed around 3 p.m.
TROT officials encourage family and friends, as well as the general public, to attend and cheer on all their favorite TROT students and horses.
There is no charge for admission. Donations to TROT by spectators will be accepted.
Foothills Mountain BBQ will sell a variety of items for lunch.
