Polk JV volleyball team tops Mountain Heritage for third straight win

Polk County rolled to a 2-0 victory Thursday over Mountain Heritage in a Western Highlands Conference junior varsity volleyball match at Polk.

The Wolverines posted a 25-15, 25-9 win, their third straight triumph, to improve to 8-5 overall, 4-0 in WHC play.

Rachael Davis had six kills and four digs for Polk County, with Belen Akers adding five kills and five digs. Kaylin Jenkins had three aces, two digs and a kill, while Emmie McDowell finished with 16 assists and four kills.
