There is a new Domino’s coming to Landrum.

The new “pizza theater” is scheduled to open on Friday, and is looking to hire delivery drivers.

Domino’s, located at 1744 Highway 14 E., features the new pizza theater store design that allows flexibility for a number of elements otherwise unheard of when it comes to the “traditional” Domino’s store. Highlights include a lobby, dine-in seating, open-area viewing of the food preparation process and the ability to track carryout orders electronically on a lobby screen.

The store also features chalkboards to allow customers to express their creativity or to leave feedback for the store team members.

“We are dedicated to the Landrum area and are excited about the opportunity to serve its residents,” said Osman Qasim, Landrum Domino’s franchise owner. “We have a deeply experienced team of folks who live and work in Landrum, and they are eager to offer our delicious products, exceptional service and innovative ordering technology to the community.”

More than 90 percent of Domino’s franchise owners started as delivery drivers, pizza makers and customer service representatives, including Qasim, who started working at Domino’s in 1985 as a delivery driver. He now owns 52 Domino’s stores in North Carolina and South Carolina.
