Polk County District Court Results – July 25

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, with Judge Chuck Reaves presiding, 215 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Elijah Quinn Burrell was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Burrell was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Kenneth Lee Busch was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Busch was fined $75.
Megan Leigh Conner was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Conner was fined $50 and court costs.
Osc Contrerasrodriguez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Contrerasrodriguez was fined $20 and court costs.
Margaret C. Dalton was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Dalton was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Neshka Danielle Fine was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fine was fined $95 and court costs.
Brandon Todd Hayes was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Hayes was fined $15.
Damon James Hines was convicted of failure to heed light or siren. Hines was fined $50 and court costs.
Steven Adam Johnson was convicted of littering not greater than 15 lbs. and possession of alcohol in a restricted area. Johnson was fined $50 and court costs.
Thomas M. Kandel was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Kandel was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Guy Thomas Kennedy was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Kennedy was fined $50 and court costs.
Earl Robert Mace was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Mace as fined $40 and court costs.
Fonda Cross Miller was convicted of drive left of center. Miller was fined $20 and court costs.
Christian D. Quintana was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Quintana was fined $50 and court costs.
Cedric Quentin Reaves was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Reaves was fined $50 and court costs.
Casey Johnson Staton was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Staton was fined $90 and court costs.
Donald Dean Swain Jr. was convicted of possession of alcohol in a restricted area. Swain was fined $50 and court costs.
Susan Diane Thurlow was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Thurlow was fined $40 and court costs.
Laura Richell Wingo was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Wingo was fined $40 and court costs.
Marcus Dean Wooten was convicted of shoplifting concealment goods and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Wooten was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.
