Opposition to 108 plan about preserving peace

I would like to ask Ms. Roshaven a question concerning her letter about the lack of “bike lanes” on Highway 108.

I wonder why you did not attend any of the meetings and voice your opinions to our elected officials, as this has been a very emotional subject with a lot of people.

Nobody is trying to take away your right to enjoy the road on bikes. Instead, most people do not want the disruption of all the construction and loss of business during that time.

Personally, I would not particularly want to ride on the busiest roads, but rather ones that I could truly take time to enjoy the views rather than worry about traffic. My suggestion would be to keep a notepad and pen to report tag numbers of anyone in cars that did not follow the law.

As for attending all the meetings, I did not see one person against the Save Hwy 108 and Lynn group. This is my opinion, and I can only speak for myself, although I do stand behind the “No Build” letters sent.
