At Thursday’s meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon, Gary Corn was the guest speaker. Corn, who is co-owner of Mill Farm Inn, shared with the Rotarians the history of the property and his experience having the inn added to the National Registry of Historic Places. In addition, he spoke briefly about the other properties in Polk County that are on the registry.  The program was arranged by Rotarian Jay Geddings (left), who is pictured with Corn. (Submitted by Bill Hillhouse)
