In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 49 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Titus Alexander Boley was convicted of two counts of assault on a female, communicating threats and domestic violence protective order violation. Boley was sentenced to 150 days in jail and to pay court costs.

Dwight David Combs Jr. was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Combs was fined $50 and court costs.

Stephanie Marlow Upton was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Upton was fined $100 and court costs.
