The event will kick off at noon with the ribbon cutting of Huckleberry’s new full bar. From there, guests will be invited to check out the rest of the festivities, which will take place on Trade Street, Depot and St. Luke’s plazas, and the Vines of Tryon.

At St. Luke’s Plaza, where Huckleberry’s is located, guests may enjoy tastings of vodkas, gins, rums, whiskey and moonshine from area distilleries, including:

• H&H Distillery

• Dalton Distillery

• South Mountain Distillery

• Great Wagon Road Distilling

• 78C Distillery

• Seven Jars Distillery

• Copper Barrel Distillery

• Mayberry Distillery

• Doc Porters Distillery

• Brothers Vilgalys

• Durham Distillery

• Muddy River Distillery

• Diablo Distillery

• Holman Distillery

• Southern Grace Distillery

• Ole Smoky Moonshine

• Troy & Sons

• Oak & Grists

Several wineries will also participate, including Parker-Binns Vineyard.

People may also enjoy some live music, from Vintage Vinyl and Chris Seree & Friends. There will also be 10 food vendors on Trade Street between the water fountain and clock tower, including dishes made by executive chef James Camillo and guest chef Ken Dahlstrom, with Landrum’s Bird Mountain.

More than 100 craft vendors will also participate in the festival, selling items including pottery, jewelry, clothing, wood carvings, photography, artwork and more.

Limo-Zen will offer shuttles for public parking places scattered throughout Tryon for the festival.

The Street Celebration will serve as the kick off for Huckleberry’s 2018 Concert Series, which will feature bands every Saturday through November.

According to event organizers, this festival will be the first of its kind in North Carolina as it required several agencies to revise state laws in order to allow this many distilleries to serve at a single event.
