Polk County District Court Results – April 25

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 203 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

O’Shea Shamar Booker was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Booker was fined $50 and court costs.

Emili Anne Bryant was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bryant was fined $40 and court costs.

Teresa Leann Carrigan was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Carrigan was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Kayleb Richard Emmons was convicted of misdemeanor larceny and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Emmons was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Matthew Miller Hogan was convicted of shine/sweep light for deer. Hogan was to pay court costs.

Ivy Willow Hyde-Bounds was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hyde-Bounds was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

David Alexander Johnson was convicted of spotlight deer/night deer hunt and hunting turkey with unlawful weapon. Johnson was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $500 fine, $602 in restitution and court costs for spotlight deer/night deer hunt and 18 months supervised probation, a $250 fine, $2,617 in restitution and court costs for hunting turkey with unlawful weapon.

Ricardo Albert Marcario was convicted of level four driving while impaired and driving after consuming under age 21. Marcario was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, two days in jail with credit, $150 in fines and court costs.

Joseph Wayne Morrow was convicted of level one driving while impaired and driving while impaired-impaired revocation. Morrow was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail with credit, $400 in fines and court costs.

Robin Pace was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Pace was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 10 days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.

Susanne Lee Sitton was convicted of display another’s license as own. Sitton was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 49 days credit and court costs.

Amy Marie Smith was convicted of two counts of breaking and or entering. Smith was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit.

In Polk County District Court on Monday, April 30, 2018, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 107 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Justus Ian Burnett was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Burnett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Fredrick Alan Hardin was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Hardin was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Rebecca Lynn McCarson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. McCarson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Sharita S. Richardson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Richardson was fined $40 and court costs.

Richard Greg Warren was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Warren was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 30 days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
