Shelf Life: May the Fourth be with you this Friday

Use the Force to take over Columbus Library and celebrate fandoms from all over the galaxy this Friday, May 4, also known as Star Wars Day.

There will be fun for all ages from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., including a Maze Runner obstacle course, destruction zone (disassemble and discover old electronics), Hunger Games scavenger hunt, cosplay costume contest, green screen photo booth, steampunk crafts, Makey-Makey Tetris, and cartooning with local artist Steve Barr.

You are also invited to participate in Yoda Yoga with instructor Lily Quinn at 5 p.m. Why not pick up a graphic novel or book from your favorite fandom while you’re at the library?

If you enjoy the AMC show, why not check out the comic book series? After joining with other survivors, including his loved ones, he gradually takes on the role of leader of a community as it struggles to survive.
