During the month of February, the Columbus Fire Department responded to 98 calls for service.

In the town of Columbus, the department responded to 16 medical assists, four EMS calls, two motor vehicle accidents with injuries, one hazardous condition, two gas leaks, two service calls, one public service assistance, on assist police or other governmental agency, two dispatched and cancelled en route, and one false alarm.

In the township of Columbus, the department responded to one excessive heat, 21 medical assists, two emergency medical service, six EMS calls, three motor vehicle accidents with injuries, three motor vehicle accidents with no injuries, one extrication of victim from vehicle, four hazardous conditions, two gas leaks, two power lines down, two power lines down, two assist police or other governmental agencies, six dispatched and cancelled en route, one smoke scare, one smoke detector activation due to malfunction, and one special type of incident.

In the Mill Spring District, the department responded to one building fire, two chimney or flue fires, one cultivated trees or nursery stock fire and one medical assist.

In the Saluda District, the department responded to two motor vehicle accidents with no injuries and two dispatched and cancelled en route.

In the Tryon District, the department responded to one medical assist.
