Polk County senior Autumn Owen closed out her high school basketball career Saturday on a winning note.
Owen scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds to help lead the Blue squad to a 76-66 victory in the 42nd Annual Blue-White All-Star Game at Enka High School.
The event matches the top high school seniors in Western North Carolina, and is a fund-raising project for the Rhododendron Civitan Club. Revenue generated from the girls and boys games furnish financial resources to public school programs targeting the handicapped.
