During the month of February 2018, the Tryon Fire Department responded to 54 calls for service.

Calls included 29 EMS, five public service, two motor vehicle accidents, two assist law enforcement, five hazardous conditions-trees, three hazardous conditions-lines, one assist Saluda Fire and Rescue, one authorized controlled burn, one smoke scare, one standby for Columbus Fire Department, one structure fire/dispatched and cancelled, one false alarm-CO detector, one false alarm-medical and one false alarm-smoke detector.
