Special Cases: Starting this year with a bang

Sorry about missing last week and this week won’t be much either. I have spent the better part of the last week and a half with this killer bug that’s going around. I’m constantly cold, dizzy and super sleepy. So here’s a quick rundown of where you, my kids and I are.
Over the holidays, I received $4,250 for my kids. Smokey, a black lab mix, 11 months old, was struck by a car over the holidays. He is in deep pain and his leg had to be taken. Smokey went to Western Carolina where his leg was removed. He is now home and he and his family are doing well. Fee: $2,200.
Ruby, a 2-year-old Dalmatian, also was hit by a car, but this time we’re trying to save the leg. Lots of abrasions and other problems but Angel has her at Bonnie Brae, $1,290 and counting. Sweet family, they also have a one month old baby girl and a Dalmatian puppy. If they couldn’t get help they would have had to give Ruby up. I may be sick but I’m still Uncle Lennie, thus far all’s well.
I’ve had three other minor cases that I intended to tell of last week: $287, $297, $171 … I total it all up and it’s just about $4,250.
Thank you, my angels, I’m aware of the message the good Lord sends me: when in need His angels will be there.
Thanks for listening and thank you for your prayers, I feel them.
