Learn to dance for the new year
Published 3:27 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2018
Come out and have some fun learning some new dance moves while helping Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry. Learn swing, cha cha, rumba, fox trot, and waltz. There is a fee for the lessons, and all of the money goes to support Thermal Belt Outreach. Instructors Dave and Carlann Scherping make learning to dance fun, so slip on your dancing shoes and don’t miss this opportunity.
The classes are held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday beginning January 9 at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Tryon. This class is appropriate for beginners or intermediate dancers. The class will continue for the month with each week building on the week before. A new class with new dances will begin in February and another in March. In three months, dancers will learn the basics for five dances and we guarantee you will be ready to go dancing!
This is a great way to support our community by helping Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry. Many thanks go to Holy Cross Episcopal Church for providing their Parish Hall for this Outreach. For more information, call Carlann and Dave at 828-894-3253 or email cscherping@gmail.com.
