On Thursday, Dec. 28, workers offload the steel for the new Landrum Hardware store being built next to the Bi-Lo Grocery on Hwy. 14. Hoke Enterprises Superintendent Robert Burgess said they poured the concrete slab last Friday, Dec. 22. The more than 12,000 square foot building will also have an additional 3,000 square foot covered outdoor space for lawn and garden items. (photo by Catherine Hunter)
