Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 80 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Byron Allan Born was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Born was fined $200 and court costs.

Lance Whitaker Coleby was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Coleby was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of injury to personal property. McCraw was sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Aurelio Hernando Mejia was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Mejia was fined $50 and court costs.

Ronald Jeremy Morgan was convicted of level three driving while impaired. Morgan was sentenced to five days in jail, 18 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Gregor James Nishino was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Nishino was to pay court costs.

Aubrey M. Pelletier was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Pelletier was fined $50.
