On Saturday, Oct. 14, Landrum will begin participation in the South Carolina Health Initiative by offering a “walk with your local elected official” event. Anyone interested is invited to join local elected officials on a one or two mile walk over local walking paths. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. at Brookwood Park on S. Bomar Ave. in Landrum.
