The Tryon Branch of the American Association of University Women will host its seventh annual Porcelain, Poetry and Prose fundraising scholarship tea on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Sunnydale.  The sold out event will include award winning author Elizabeth Cox, whose novels include “The Familiar Ground,” “Ragged Way People Fall Out of Love,” “Night,” “The Slow Moon,” and “A Question of Mercy.” Joining her will be local author Sally Hursey who will share her insight into her new book, “Molly to the Rescue,” a story that tugs at the heartstrings.
