PCHS volleyball team holds annual car wash

The Polk County High School girls volleyball team held their annual car wash fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 30 at Advance Auto Parts in Columbus. By 11:30 a.m. the girls had washed more than 50 cars to help pay for the team’s needs.
In addition to washing cars team members sold home baked goods such as chocolate chip cookies, Rice Crispy treats and apple crisp with ice cream.
Those participating in the car wash included: Reagan Naddell, Kendall Hall, Lauren Ketwitz, Ansley Lynch, Alex Pomano, Mireya Roman, Grace Lauer, Meadow Becker, Sydney Metcalf, Kana Olguin, Carolina Castillo, Marilyn Castillo, Kristen Hall, Marissa Twitty, Landry Edwards, Rollins Carter, Scout Harmon, Emmie McDowell, Stellas Tallon, Belen Akers, Kylee Mullis, Rachel Davis, Ivy Upton, and Johanna Gordon.
Others helping included Assistant Coach Jon Ezell on traffic control, Chloe Davis with the bake sale, supervision by Mary Jo Twitty, Hunter Hill and Coach Molly Hill.
