Would you like to learn basic computer skills? Would you like to learn how to more effectively use your cell phone, tablet, or IPad? There will be a six week Senior Technology Boot Camp offered for seniors 55 and up, at the Polk County Library. The sessions will run each Saturday, starting September 9 and run through October 14 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The classes will cover such things as, sending text messages, making the best of the smartphone functions and apps, basic computer skills, Google search, email set-up, print and beyond. For those that may be beyond the basics of technology, the classes will also cover the more advanced technology skills as well.
If you are interested in learning and becoming more empowered and proficient in the use of technology please join us for this six week curriculum. These sessions are free and open to all Polk County and Landrum area residents. For more information you may call Sharon Rogers at 828-289-0495.
This program is sponsored by the Unity in the Community Organization and funded by the Polk County Community Foundation.
