Polk County District Court results
In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 143 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Michael Edward Bogan was convicted of possession of alcohol within 50 ft. of an unauthorized area and littering not greater than 15 lbs. Bogan was fined $350 and court costs.
Trenton Carson was convicted of possession of natural bait/trout waters. Carson was fined $35 and court costs.
Cynthia Ann Frey was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Frey was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
John Charles Frey Jr. was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Frey was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Bradley Keith Gevedon was convicted of probation violation. Gevedon was sentenced to 45 days in jail with credit for 27 days.
Nancy E. Hutcherson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Hutcherson was sentenced to one day in jail.
Natalie Anne Johnson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Johnson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Joyce Marie Jones was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Jones was fined $30 and court costs.
Daniel Alejandro Pajon was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pajon was fined $50 and court costs.
Kayla Marie Taplin was convicted of possession of alcohol within 50 ft. of an unauthorized area. Taplin was fined $50 and court costs.
Polk County Superior Court results
In Polk County Criminal Superior Court Administration Session on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 104 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Joseph Mitchell Case was convicted of possession of stolen goods and second-degree trespassing. Case was sentenced to 25 days in jail with credit for time served.
Ronnie Elijah Pruitt was convicted of probation violation. Pruitt’s probation was revoked to serve a 10-21-month sentence with credit for 97 days.
