As the school year comes to an end, the Honors Engineering class at Polk County High School has been busy building and programming different types of robots.
The first robots built were remote controlled and focused on the mechanics of movement and task completion. Students also utilized their creativity and marketing skills to “advertise” their robot in poster form.
The second set of robotics focused on the programming of the robots using Lego EV3 and advanced challenges of programming logic.
The last project was student choice and sadly ended with the dismantling of their new “friends” for storage until next semester.
