Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 110 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Andrew Tyler Cason was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Cason was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Hunter Jeremiah Green was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Green was to pay court costs.

Donnell Hampton was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Hampton was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

Jodi Carolyn Harriman was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Harriman was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 18 days credit.

David Grant Herron was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Herron was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

James Clarence Lowe was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation violation and driving while impaired. Lowe was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit.

Wesley Tyler Mathis was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Mathis was fined $50.
